Since periods often last a week or more, you'll have to bathe and shower at least once during your flow (either that or stay dirty, which you probably don't want to do). So, how do you bathe and shower on your flow?
Showering is easy, to be honest. You can basically do everything normally. If you bleed at all, it will just wash down the drain, which is fine. You'll probably want to make sure you wash off any dried blood on your skin, but other than that, it's pretty similar to what you usually do. Just wash and rinse yourself like normal.
Bathing is more difficult. I rarely take baths, so I've never actually taken a bath on my period. However, if you take a bath while you're bleeding, you'll end up sitting in pinkish water, which is just kind of gross. The solution is to wear a tampon, soft cup or moon cup, which will stop the blood from getting in the water. After that, you should be fine, and you can bathe normally.
That's it for now! Peace out, readers!
